Chelsea is usually a very well-tempered person and dislikes using force or seeing others being violent. He prefers to talk out differences and find a solution that would benefit all involved parties. Maintaining a peaceful relationship is so important to him that he often complies with someone else’s selfishness, making him seem like quite the pushover. That is, until he's asked to do something that would hurt others or go against his values.

History:

Chelsea grew up with a single father, since his parents had a divorce when he was very young. He didn’t remember much of the time when both of them were around, only that they used to fight a lot and he was glad that it’s not the case anymore. With his father being a chaotic freelance writer, Chelsea often had to take up the role of the mother and wife, making sure that his dad and their small apartment wouldn’t fall into complete depravity. Even though he often nagged at his old man to get remarried already, he was content with their situation.

 

But no matter how unreliable his father was, there was one thing he could count him on. Even though he barely made enough to feed them with his writing and therefore had to take on several side jobs, he always supported Chelsea in his dream to study art. After all, the least he could do was giving his one and only son the freedom to pursue his own goals. With a lot of hard work and countless hours of studying, Chelsea passed with flying colors and was granted a scholarship at his desired art college.

 

A year later, having settled in his new life as a student, Chelsea and some others were chosen to participate in an off-road semester in Europe. He was overjoyed, not wanting to believe his luck. In the end, he was better off not believing it. During the flight over the ocean, some turbulence occurred and the plane had to do an emergency landing on a strange island. Amongst the chaos, Chelsea lost all his documents and was therefore not permitted to leave when rescue came. Though he had been promised that someone would come get him later, he had a feeling that he was going to stay on that island called Eden d’Ys for quite a bit longer.
